10-Day Weather Forecast

Beavers Bend and Broken Bow lake is an outdoor lover's paradise. Mountainous terrain, flowing streams, crystal clear water, and over 3,500 acres of lofty pines combine to create an area often called Oklahoma's Little Smokies.

If you love the outdoors, then you'll love Beavers Bend. It offers some of the best outdoor activities anywhere around. Whether your preference is land or water, Beavers Bend has it. For the land lover, there are over 16 miles of hiking trails, with 4 miles of mountain bike trails that take you along ridge tops, over creek bottoms, through tall stands of timber, and into other remote areas.

Other land adventures include golf, horseback riding, train rides, hayrides, miniature golf, race cars, archery and picnics. Eagle watches are held every November through February. Within the park, you can visit the Forest Heritage Center and Museum, as well as the park gift shop.

If it's water you love, there is something for everyone. Broken Bow Lake is over 14,000 acres of the most beautiful water in the southwest. The water is so clear, it is a favorite destination for many scuba enthusiasts. The lake is full of activity, but not too crowded. Lake activities include skiing, jet-skiing, fishing and boating. The park's Riverbend area has kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, bumper boats and swimming. Party barge rentals are also available.
