Thank you for hosting us. We got to see deer as we enjoyed the hot tub and porch. We came to relax and enjoy each other’s company for Mom’s get-a-way, and we did.
We had a great time at Castlewood Trails. It was a perfect getaway from Richardson, TX for family. We have been coming to Broken Bow for the past 10 years and this was one of our favorite trips.
The little touches throughout the cabin like decorations, painted gnomes and furniture made it very cozy. We had everything we needed to make it a great family vacation. The location in the woods was also perfect.
I came to this cabin to recharge my soul and got exactly what I needed out of it! This cabin and the surrounding land is absolutely magical. I feel so blessed to have stepped in such a beautiful, comfortable and thoughtfully appointed home. We will be back!

Everything about the cabin is fantastic. Kids and parents had a great time. Foosball table got some MAJOR use. The family enjoyed the Pirate Mini Golf and Beavers Bend Mining Co.

I hosted a Christmas family getaway at Carls’s beautiful cabin and it was a great success! We didn’t leave the cabin for a full 48 hours, just enjoying the fireplace, cooking, with great amenities that makes this the best cabin you can get a broken bow! Highly recommend for any season and any type of getaway. Will be returning!
The house is all that you would imagine. Very nice with great furnishings. It makes you feel as if you are at home. Love the wrap around porch with all the sitting areas. Plenty of outdoor space for privacy. Great place. Highly recommend.

A wonderful getaway to this cabin. Enjoyed sitting on the wrap-around porch, reading and listening to the trees. Children enjoyed exploring all around the property. Great stay, excellent host, very helpful when we had a question. Can’t wait to come back.
We loved this property! We were there in a heat wave and amazed at how much the large porch and trees provided shade and cool around the property. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, attention to detail – overall great experience.
The cabin was exactly like the pictures. The property was secluded even though you could see some cabins through the trees. We had a fun, relaxing trip. The cabin was very spacious and we didn’t feel like we were tripping over anyone. The kitchen was roomy and we were able to cook all our meals in the FULLY stocked kitchen. I would recommend this to anyone.
The house was comfortable and cozy. We loved sitting on the wrap around porch and climbing in the hot tub at night. We were able to take short hikes right outside of the cabin and enjoyed watching the deer in the evening.
This was my first time in Broken Bow with some close friends. Before even booking, Glen and Carla were so attentive! When we arrive at the cabin, we were in awe. It is so beautiful, the surrounding area is amazing. It has everything you need outside and inside. Very, very, clean and comfortable! So much space. We can’t wait to come back next year to this cabin. Thanks so much for being a great host!
This property was even better than described. The cabin was well maintained, decorated, and has everything you need for a peaceful vacation in the woods. The adults could sit on the deck and easily see the kids playing in the woods, treehouse, etc. The fire pit was perfect for keeping warm and making smores. This cabin is a good distance away from others, making it a semi-private retreat to get away from it all. We had great time hiking at nearby Beavers Bend State Park and horseback riding at Riverman Trails. Carla is wonderful to work with as we accidentally left something valuable behind in the cabin and she went above and beyond to help us get it back. You won’t be disappointed booking this cabin. We can’t wait to return!

We really enjoyed the peace, quite, relaxing surroundings. Thank you for helping us make lifelong memories. I have stayed at many VRBO and AirBNB properties and this is the top of the list. The owners were so gracious, accommodating and very responsive.

All I can say is, “Wow”. I would recommend this cabin to anybody staying in the Beavers Bend area. The cabin is in a great location, and it is a very nice place to unwind at the end of the day. The kids loved the tree house and hiking trail. We will definitely be back.
The wrap around porch was perfect for morning coffee, afternoon card games and evening drinks. The beds were very comfortable and everything was well stocked. We enjoyed cooking our meals there and hiking the area. We will definitely be back!
Beautiful remote cabin in the deep woods. No neighbors, quite with deer, raccoons, some real outdoors experience. Places to walk. Good water pressure and hot water. Cold AC. Everything we needed.
Our experience on teh property was absolutely perfect. It was comfortable, clean and beautiful. We enjoyed hikes daily, the water and comforts hanging out with family and friends on the deck. The only problem was that it was too short of a time! Hoping to come back next year and maybe a week longer. Thank you!
We stayed here for two nights and wish we could have stayed much longer. It feel private – the deck and hot tub are amazing. You can tell how much pride goes into this property and it shows in every detail. We will definitely stay here again!
Having never rented a cabin before, this was a SUPER first time experience. It is quiet obvious that a lot of thought has bone into making sure that your guest are comfortable as possible. Having been here for ten days, we feel like this was our “home away from home”. We look forward to returning again and again.
Beavers Bend has been a family favorite for 20+ years. We have stayed in many cabins over the years, but this cabin is by far our favorite!
